ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Senior Manager Fleet & Safety Operations has full responsibility for managing the organization-wide Reynolds fleet of approximately 2,000 vehicles as well as safety program development and regulatory compliance for Reynolds Marketing Services Company (RMSC). Fleet operations responsibilities include ownership of the annual fleet budget through management of the total cost of vehicle ownership, informing the fleet lifecycle management, and owning the vendor relationship with our Fleet Management Company. Trade Marketing safety accountabilities include the development of all hazard awareness programs and compliance enforcement for both federal and state OSH. This position supports field Trade Marketing leadership in the implementation of safe work practices. This position is also responsible for driver safety education and administration of all employees operating Reynolds owned vehicles. Individuals holding this position should have an intellectual curiosity, constantly seek out best fleet and safety practices, and remain current on changing trends.
As part of the Trade Marketing team, the Senior Manager Fleet & Safety Operations is responsible for setting department goals and objectives for the team to deliver operational results. This role is also responsible for leading, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work not only within the team but cross functionally as well.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leads, coaches, develops, and supports a team to deliver on projects and objectives that align with company goals.
Vendor relationship owner for fleet management company and vehicle OEM.
Adherence to strict fleet budget management principles and decisions impacting total cost of vehicle ownership.
Manage safe vehicle selection and purchase cycles through vehicle manufacturers and leasing companies.
Management of vehicle safety telematics program on all Company owned vehicles.
Works cross functionally with EHS team to develop the Driver Safety Training program content with 3rd party vendors and assure compliance with ANSI 15.1.
Develop and communicate safety Dashboard to Trade Marketing Leadership and make improvements as identified.
Development of hazard recognition programs and implementation of strategies for regulatory compliance.
Manage training content and consult with HR Talent Development team regarding training logistics.
Perform health and safety audits throughout field Trade Marketing Regions.
Assess training programs on a continual basis to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
Seek continuous improvement and be willing to challenge the status quo.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Experience Required
5+ years marketing experience in a fast-paced consumer goods industry
Demonstrated record of leading, coaching, and developing others
Experience in occupational safety and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships
Has committed to personal and professional development
Proficient with MS Office applications
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Ability to communicate with and engage cross-functional areas to include 3rd party vendors
Possesses a high level of results orientation and attention to detail
Effective influencing and persuasive skills

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
EHS Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Awareness and adherence to the Company’s environmental, health & safety policies, as it relates to the role
Implement programs to support achieving Company EHS and ESG objectives
Responsible for operational integration of EHS programs that result in reduction of health & safety risk and environmental impacts
Understand responsibilities for compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standards
Complete EHS-required training
Immediately report all injuries and illnesses and participate in investigations and development of corrective actions
Participate in EHS programs as required
