Job Summary
As an Accounting Manager you will be tasked with performing a wide variety of accounting duties and responsibilities in an efficient, timely and accurate manner in an environment that is fast paced and ever changing to meet the needs of our business. You will be partnering with company leadership, project management, estimating and more to meet the crucial needs of our business and this is a key and very important hire for GSI.

We specialize in emergency landslide repairs, rockfall mitigation, and grouting using cutting edge design/build and design/build/warranty contracting. GeoStabilization International is the leading geohazard mitigation and bridge rehabilitation firm operating throughout the United States, Canada, and Australasia. Our expertise, proprietary tools, and worldwide partnerships allow us to repair virtually any slope stability or foundation problem in any geologic setting.
Our offices are in Westminster, CO. This role is a hybrid in-office role. Tue-Thur are in-office with the ability to work remotely on Monday and Fridays.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the execution and review of key accounts and transaction cycles.
Assist in the development and execution of integration of newly acquired business units
Help develop internal controls around core accounting functions across the organization
Analyze project financial performance for accuracy, profit risks and opportunities and cashflow
Prepare/Support Work In Progress (WIP) reviews for newly acquired entities
Support inventory valuation management
Work closely with finance leadership regarding new business unit financial performance
Monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
Oversee the treasury function including cash management
Support tax planning and compliance efforts, collaborating with internal teams and external advisors
Assist with accounting tasks and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Minium Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 7 years of experience in accounting preferably within the construction industry
Recent Management of Accountants (direct reports)
Strong Excel skills
Solid analysis and critical thinking capability
Preferred Qualifications
CPA license
Vista by Viewpoint experience
Experience with integration of new business units
The salary range for the role is $115,000 - $130,000 per year.
