Red Hat Senior Compliance Specialist - Subscription Education and Awareness Program (Italy) in Italy

Red Hat is looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join the Subscription Education and Awareness Program (SEAP) initiatives in the EMEA region, with an initial focus on the Italian market.

What is SEAP? SEAP is a team of highly specialised professionals in software asset management, software licensing & compliance working directly with customers, partners, and sales teams to build awareness and enforce the Red Hat subscription model. SEAP is more than audits, is the RedHat approach to compliance and it is part of the Customer Success organization.

In this role you will be responsible to analyze your assigned territory and plan SEAP engagements along with the Sales, Customer Success, Channel and the Renewal team. You will proactively work with the customers and the extended sales team to maximise commercial opportunities and ensure that Red Hat is fairly compensated for any past and future usage of its subscription services.

What you will do

  • Identify and plan engagement opportunities in your territory and region.

  • Evangelise Red Hat's subscription model, along with their contractual terms and conditions, to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Positively impact sales revenue through the education and enforcement of Red Hat's subscription model.

  • Measure and reconcile, with the support of our Solution Analysts, the usage of Red Hat’s subscriptions against the customers’ entitlements.

  • Review and approve complex deals with the Deal Desk team.

  • Work directly with customers to resolve contractual concerns.

  • Document and distribute best practices for subscription management and subscription optimization to regional sales teams

  • Create and distribute regionally-specific marketing and messaging for the program

  • Coordinate activities lead by 3rd party consulting services with a focus on recovered revenue.

What you will bring

  • Extensive direct experience in software licensing and compliance, SAM, software sales and sourcing

  • Experience in creating and analysing customer data reports

  • Technology, software, or consulting selling experience

  • Excellent commercial skills, including managing programs and projects, developing proposals, and performing data analytics

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Fundamental understanding of Red Hat's subscription business model and ability to describe in convincing fashion the value generated for customers in this model is a plus

  • Ability to analyse contractuals T&Cs and explain them in “plain english” to the stakeholders

  • Ability to accurately forecast and track sales linked to SEAP efforts within the assigned territory

  • Handling the pressure of Sales cycles ensuring fair compensation for Red Hat subscription services.

  • Fluency in English and Italian.

  • Fluency in a third language is a plus.
