JOB SUMMARY:

This position has the responsibility to test the samples in the approaches of product performance and its lifespan required in the company’s lab. as per the test procedures of specific character of feature provided. The goal is to make sure the sample can reach the expectation and life time is enough due warranty period. Duties and requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned

JOB DUTIES:

• Test the samples from new projects based on the test procedure and evaluate the product performance

• Test the PPI samples to evaluate if it complies the sample approved during development stage

• Test the shipment sample to see if any potential risks and find out improvement could be acted

• Test the sample with improvements to evaluate if the actions workable based on the defective happened from market

• Test the sample for some aspects that is critical for IEC standard

• Issue performance and life test report based on the test result achieved

• Communicate with supplier and supervisor for the defective found during the test process and find solution

• Making SPL and tear-down list if necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• College’s degree or above in Engineering, or a related field.Working knowledge of sample testing procedures for small home appliances and testing equipment.

• 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance / testing lab. in factory

• Working knowledge of consumer Electric & Electronic products such as kitchen appliance, home cleaner, personal care, linen care, etc.

• Knowledge of IEC/UL standards and product certification procedures is a plus.

• Chinese (Mandarin) fluency in speaking and English good in reading and writing is preferable.

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

• Work independently and able to work under pressure.

• Positive, excellent communication and coordination skills, carefulness, responsible, honest and a good team player.

• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and/or external partners.

• Good logical thinking, initiative to solve problems, strong team’s work spirits.

• Knowledge of root cause analysis, 5 Why or 8D problem solving techniques is plus.
