Job Summary:

Under general supervision of senior lab personnel, the employee will carry out a broad range of functions and procedures to support research activities in the lab. Tasks include maintenance of animal or Fly colonies, glassware washing/autoclaving, monitoring and maintaining supply of common-use lab reagents (solutions, culture plates and media). Average hours will amount to 10 hr/week. Based on interest and demonstrated ability, this position may offer the opportunity to work additional hours engaging in research activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in a college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous lab experience.
