You will work closely with the E&D Engineering team. Main focus and work will be on new product development and product maintenance ensuring that our software releases maintain the right quality for customer expectations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop procedures and methods to test and qualify functional products requirements and continuously work to improve testing methods

• Develop test procedures and automated test scripts for units and systems; Perform qualifications test to verify functionality

• Qualify and test software, algorithms, and embedded systems; Be a resource for project manager and department managers in evaluating risks, timelines and challenges in projects

• Undertake analysis and investigation to solve differing, but related, problems

• Give input and suggest improvements to company best practices and tools

• Provide support and guidance to the engineering team

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering Degree or Technical College within electronics, software, sensors, mechatronics or another relevant field. Lack of formal education may be compensated with relevant experience

• Proven track record in testing and test methods, solid discipline competencies within testing and software; Ability to gain solid understanding of our core technologies

• Functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment; Able to work and perform in a multidisciplinary engineering team

• Ability to strengthen our team with skills within several of the following areas, team player and easy to work with; Strong focus on quality and knows what quality look like; Analytical, structured, thorough, committed, self-driven and proactive

• Proficient in verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Ability to lead test efforts and direct work on test activities utilizing personnel less skilled in SW test

• This function requires interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make engineering decisions and judgements
