The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the shaping and development of our future facilities in the oil & gas sector as well as low-carbon solutions, including hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects. Our work encompasses from early-phase studies to detailed engineering phase for both new builds and large modification projects. We are currently looking to enhance our expertise within functional safety.

As part of our team your typical tasks will include:

  • Providing valuable specialist advice and services to a portfolio of projects on the management of functional safety, SIS and SIL/LOPA.

  • Initiating efficiency improvements and support development of best practice within management of SIS for project development.

  • Taking part in standardization work related to SIS (e.g. “IEC 61511”, “OLF GL 070”) and update of Company’s internal governing documentation.

  • Participating in the development and instruction of internal learning courses related to functional safety/SIS.

  • Contributing to networking initiatives within the area of functional safety.

You

  • A Master's degree in functional safety or another relevant discipline is preferred; however, candidates with a Bachelor's degree complemented by relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • Experience from project development and/or engineering contractor is beneficial.

  • Experience or education within functional safety (IEC61508/11, NOG 070), management of Safety Instrumented Systems, SIL, LOPA, reliability analysis.

  • Knowledge of national and international rules and regulations within your discipline.

  • A collaborative team player capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently and prioritizing when required.

  • A willingness to travel and adapt to different work environments as needed.

  • Proficiency in the English language, with strong skills in both written and oral communication.
