Description

We are on the hunt for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the smooth operation of our accounting processes, particularly focusing on the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and general-ledger data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices to ensure appropriate documentation is present prior to payment

• Perform data entry tasks related to invoice and general-ledger information

• Assist senior financial officers with various tasks as needed

• Maintain strict confidentiality of company and partner information

• Support special projects as requested by management

• Maintain Good Received/Invoice Received (GRIR) records

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Must have a strong understanding of Invoice Processing procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SAP software is required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven problem-solving abilities

• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
