Description We are in search of a committed Paralegal with experience in personal injury law to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing substantial support to attorneys in handling personal injury cases within the legal industry. The position will require the candidate to manage case files, conduct legal research, and interact with clients and other involved parties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial interviews with clients to evaluate the merits of potential cases.

• Gather and organize relevant information and evidence including client information, medical records, and police reports.

• Prepare chronologies of events, summaries of key evidence, and legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Assist with the discovery process, including drafting interrogatories and requests for documents.

• Schedule depositions, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.

• Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and addressing their concerns.

• Maintain and organize case files both electronically and in hard copy.

• Manage case deadlines and calendars.

• Conduct legal research and data entry tasks.

• Interact with insurance companies and other parties involved in the case.

• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including witness preparation.

Skills:

• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat and Case Management Software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in briefing and calendar management.

• Experience in handling complaints and analyzing medical records.

• Thorough understanding of personal injury law and litigation. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably within the personal injury law sector

• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software

• Demonstrable experience in managing calendars and handling complaints effectively

• Expertise in briefing and analyzing medical records

• Familiarity with personal injury plaintiffs and personal injury litigation processes

• Strong knowledge and understanding of personal injury law

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field is preferred

• Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal education program is a plus

• Familiarity with Management System is desired

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
