L’organisation est à la recherche d’une personne dynamique, créative et organisée qui souhaite contribuer à l’atteinte des objectifs d’affaires de P&WC par le biais de la fabrication et du développement de pièces aéronautiques de grande qualité. Le candidat sera jumelé à un superviseur senior et participera aux rencontres, aux interactions avec le personnel ainsi qu’aux prises de décisions tout en bénéficiant d’une équipe pour l’encadrer. L’environnement de travail est partagé entre le travail de bureau et l’expérience du terrain.

À quoi ressemblera votre travail quotidien :

• Gérer les employés dans un environnement syndiqué en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le superviseur (assurer la fluidité des opérations au quotidien, assigner les tâches, agir en tant que personne ressource pour le département, appliquer les règles de la convention collective).

• Agir en tant qu’agent de prévention et de respect des règles de santé sécurité au travail.

• Prendre en charge et déployer des stratégies afin de réduire la non-qualité.

• Prendre en charge des projets (aménagement, santé-sécurité, environnement, productivité, etc.) permettant l'amélioration continue du département.

Les incontournables :

• Être éligible à travailler au Canada.

• Être inscrit dans une université canadienne pendant toute la durée de votre stage.

• Être en mesure de travailler sur place dans la province où vous êtes embauché, le cas échéant.

• Études dans un domaine pertinent

• Maitrise des logiciels offices de bases (principalement : Excel, Outlook, One Note)

• Excellentes compétences en communication en français (parlé/écrit).

• Une bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise, à l’écrit et à l’oral, est requise pour ce poste compte tenu des besoins opérationnels de l’Employeur et des personnes avec lesquelles le [candidat] sera appelé à interagir.

Our expectations:

The organization is looking for a dynamic, creative and organized individual who wants to contribute to the achievement of P&WC business objectives through the manufacturing and development of high quality aeronautic parts. The candidate will be paired with a senior supervisor and will be assisting him/her across various meetings, interactions with the personnel, as well as in the making of decisions, all while obtaining the needed support from the team on site. The work environment is divided between desk work and on-the-field experience.

What your day to day will look like:

• Manage employees in a unionized environment by working in close collaboration with the supervisor (ensure the fluidity of the daily operations, assign tasks to employees, act as a resource for the department, apply the rules dictated by the Collective Agreement).

• Act as a prevention agent for the respect of the health & safety guidelines at work.

• Take charge of and deploy strategies in order to reduce non-quality.

• Take charge of projects (shop floor layout, health & safety, environmental, productivity, etc.) that allow for the continuous improvement of the department.

What you need to be successful:

• Be eligible to work in Canada.

• Be registered at a Canadian university for the duration of your internship.

• Be able to work locally in the province where you are hired, if applicable.

• Educational background in a relevant field

• Communication and presentation skills

• Mastery of basic office software (mainly: Excel, Outlook, One Note)

• Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).

• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the [candidate] will interact.

• General skills: Autonomy, leadership, sense of priorities, initiative, and proof of diplomacy

Assets:
