Robert Half Document Management Specialist in Sacramento, California

Description We are offering an opportunity in our team for a Document Controller based in Sacramento, California. The role involves reviewing and processing documents, ensuring they meet company standards, and managing them within our claims management software. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review initial submissions of documents provided in email format and prepare them for processing.

• Review scanned images of incoming mail and label and title documents as per company identification standard.

• Investigate documents presented without a claim number and forward new claims to the first report team.

• Forward documents without any identifiable information to the customer care team or other internal resources for further review.

• Perform quality assurance reviews of scanned images and confirm a valid claim number, rejecting or returning documents for rescanning if images do not meet company standards or the claim number is invalid.

• Index and assign all scanned images to the correct claim number, investigating within the claims management software to match the image to the correct claim number.

• Input image detail summary into the claims management system including the date of service and document type.

• Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.

• Exercise detailed review and document review skills in all tasks. Requirements • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Proven experience in a document controller role or similar is essential

• Proficiency in using document management software is a necessity

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to conduct detailed reviews of documents

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Experience in maintaining and updating electronic databases and system records

• Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

• Must have legal authorization to work in the location of employment.
