Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Enterprise Architect who will be playing a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape to be more efficient and supporting local state governments.

The primary tasks this person will be responsible for are designs, plans, and oversees the overall technology architecture of an organization.

Responsibilities will also include:

• Creating a broad view of the organization's current and future technology needs.

• Identifying areas for improvement.

• Advising technology solutions that align with the company's goals in support of local governments

This position requires 2 days a week working on-site either in downtown Richmond, or in the Midlothian area of Virginia.

Skills and Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience working in technology architecture positions

• at least 3-5 years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect

• experience from the managed services space

• experience working in enterprise environments or with enterprise customers

• federal, state, or local government environment experience

• comfortable being client-facing and managing many opinions from different stakeholders regarding the technological landscape

• experience with the technological security space

• hands on involvement with clouds AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud - cloud certifications

• enterprise architecture certs

• hands on security experience

• experience working within security frameworks (NIST, SEC530, or other) null
