About the Opportunity
The Corporate Accounting Department has an immediate opening for a Senior or Advance Business Intelligence Analyst, reporting to the Accounting and Finance Senior Manager.
In this role, you will utilize your business intelligence and data analysis skills to provide financial management reporting, research, and analysis from various business and financial datasets. This will also include developing, modeling, and presenting solutions related to financial forecasts, budgets, and other financial planning services for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
As a collaborative team member, you will plan and execute solutions and provide consultation to clients, colleagues, and management. While using data to drive decisions, you will determine best practices and suggest how to improve current practices. This position will include designing, maintaining, and producing financial reports, dashboards, and other data visualization methods using Tableau, Microsoft Excel and Access as well as various other business intelligence software applications for various end-users.
What You Will Do:
Design and manage Financial Reports including Tableau data visualization analytics platforms to support end-user business intelligence requirements.
Perform highly complex analyses and modeling of financial data including projections, assumptions, and/or trend and variance analyses with the goal of providing accurate and data-driven forecasts and actionable recommendations in a well-organized written and verbal format to internal stakeholders and leaders.
Develop, execute, and innovate reporting solutions to drive the delivery of enterprise and/or business line performance packages and summaries.
Lead, contribute, and participate in data collection, process improvement, and solution discussions that may require presenting outcomes in written and verbal format to management. Serves as a subject matter expert of financial information on budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting matters.
Develop and design the organization, structure, and definition of data to meet business reporting and data visualization requirements.
Perform data consistency testing, assists with database design and maintenance, and develops queries and statistical reports.
Key participant in cross-functional team initiatives and financial process improvement projects within business area and across the Bank.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 to 9+ years of relevant work experience
Minimum 2 years of Tableau or Power BI experience required
Excellent Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, and Database Skills required
Financial Reporting and/or Modeling experience required
Workday or Adaptive reporting experience preferred

The hiring range of the Business Intelligence Analyst position is as follows:
Senior: $97,300.00 – 133,760.00 annually
Advanced: $109,700.00 – 150,810.00 annually
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
The Fifth District provides a hybrid work environment. This position is required to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
