Posting Summary | The Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions is one of seven academic Departments, located in the School of Health Professions. The Department offers a full career ladder of graduate and undergraduate degrees, including a B.S. Degree Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. The Program is accredited by ACOTE Additional information about the School of Health Professions is available at The Program Director of the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program manages and administers all aspects of the Bachelor of Science OTA Program including planning, budgeting, evaluation, selection of faculty and staff, maintenance of accreditation and commitment to strategies for professional development. The Program Director is a faculty member who teaches within the OTA Program, participates in scholarship, and provides service and leadership within the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions and the School of Health Professions at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Physical Demands and Work Environment | There are no significant physical demands associated with this position. There are no special vision requirements. The work environment includes classrooms and offices. There is moderate noise. The candidate will work primarily on the Piscataway campus and will have access to a standard computer, phone, and internet access to perform the duties outlined. Some local travel is required to make clinical site visits and attend meetings with stakeholders. |
