Aerotek Facilities Engineer in Palo Alto, California

Description:

Assists in utility shut downs

Complies with all hospital standards and policies with a focus on safety, license requirements, smoking, attendance, and training

Installs new or replacement machinery, equipment, and fixtures following applicable building codes

Maintains and repairs various equipment in hospital/clinic

Performs a variety of semi-skilled mechanical, electrical, or general work in connection with the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment and systems

Take direction and assist tradespersons for the duration of an assignment

Responsible for keeping accurate and legible records, time cards, work requests, log book entries, charts and record sheets, and turned in to supervisor in a timely manner

Performs equipment preventative maintenance

Performs routine inspections of building machines, noting deficiencies and initiates repairs.

Responds to customer requests to address environmental or equipment deficiencies

Work BAS/BMS to control temp changes in patient rooms

Handle air flow changes, filters, and run preventative maintenance

CMMS experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any licenses or certifications is qualifying

Education: high school diploma of GED equivalent

Experience: 2 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

License/certification: none
