Citigroup Product Manager in New York, New York

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Product Manager for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Coordinate new client onboarding as an Execution to Custody "E2C"/Wholesale Product Specialist subject matter expert. Work closely with the Custody Implementation lead(s) to synchronize the client setup and testing to ensure operational readiness. Support the Regional Product Lead and Sales in Requests for Pricing "RFPs" by conducting pricing analysis and other prospecting efforts, utilizing the product expertise and research. Work closely with the electronic trading desk and E2C product team on any correspondence with clients or prospects that involve new or customized solutions. Plan, budget, and formulate policies and procedures within the E2C/Wholesale Product. Prepare revenue reports for senior management and perform root cause analyses and calculate key success factors using Excel and VBA. Maintain the technology Book of Work, and architect client reports by building custom SQL queries directly in the data warehouse. Act as the first Point of Contact ("Level 1") for queries or issues about the E2C process, as well as for Business as Usual "BAU" matters relevant to E2C while directing matters outside of E2C's scope to proper points of contact. Coordinate the investigation and closure of queries or production issues with Operations. Liaise with coordinate with Equities Traders and clients to discuss issues related to the E2C/Wholesale Product. Utilize the understanding of the mechanics of the global Equities market to identify client workflows and address any gaps. Draft and review any documentation required to make changes within technology systems to support the new client flows onboarding.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Management, or a related field, and four (4) years of project management or business development experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Four (4) years of experience must include: Re-designing operational, settlement, and order management flows, to improve settlement efficiency and product experience for clients; Conducting cost-benefit analysis of new product development utilizing data analytics in SQL, data visualization in Microsoft Excel (including VBA), and equity market micro-structures across the US, LatAm and EMEA regions; Creating business requirement documents in collaboration with Tech teams to implement workflow enhancements; Ensuring governance of product enhancements and implementation following established testing frameworks, rules and regulations; Creating and managing a robust book of work that enhances the banking experience using Confluence and JIRA; and Documenting customer pain points through customer outreach and data tracking, analysis and visualization following Design Thinking principles. 40 hrs./wk.
