Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Developer in our New York location. This role is in a fast-paced, hybrid environment within a Trading Platform/Foreign Exchange Platform FinTech company. The main focus is on Core Java and Multithreading, with very little framework in place, which requires hard-core hands-on coding.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core Java applications and components

• Implement multi-threading and low latency programming techniques

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on solution design, coding, and debugging

• Work on the development of real-time systems, if any experience is available

• Collaborate with other team members to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture

• Perform validation and verification testing

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products

• Document development phases and monitor systems. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of five years of experience as a Software Developer

• Proficiency in Multithreaded Programming is essential for this role

• Strong knowledge and experience in Core Java is required

• Experience in Low Latency programming is necessary

• The ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain a high level of professionalism

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
