  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with subject matter experts across Con Edison to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance.

  • Coordinate company compliance activities with NPCC and NERC and respond to NERC Alerts.

  • Oversee the NERC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program at Con Edison, maintaining high standards of excellence.

  • Participate in NPCC and NERC committees and working groups.

  • Coordinate activities with compliance partners and peers including the NYISO, NYPA and neighboring utilities.

  • Participate in evaluating new NERC Standards and brief executives on emerging compliance issues.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3 years of work experience in the electric power industry.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering

Relevant Work Experience

  • Knowledge of NERC reliability Standards. Required

  • Competency in drafting technical procedures, business process documents or specifications for the electric power industry. Required

Skills & Ability

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
