Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper in New York, New York. This role involves managing customer collections, reconciling bank statements, recording vendor payments, and transitioning into more substantial bookkeeping functions. Responsibilities:

• Assist with client collections to ensure timely payments

• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

• Record vendor payments promptly and accurately

• Transition into more extensive bookkeeping functions as per the business needs

• Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for efficient data entry and record keeping

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure correct account balances

• Handle accounts payable and receivable to maintain proper cash flow

• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting

• Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time

• Conduct B2B collections to manage the company's receivables. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage company's financial obligations and incoming payments

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, maintaining and updating financial records

• Strong Data Entry skills to input financial data into company databases

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data, including use of Excel Formulas

• Experience with Month End Close procedures to finalize financial activities for the month

• Familiarity with processing Payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing company's financial transactions

• Experience with B2B collections to manage and collect business debts

• Understanding of Basic Bookkeeping principles and procedures

• Ability to perform Bookkeeping Functions such as recording financial transactions, updating statements, and checking financial records for accuracy

• Knowledge of Excel Formulas to perform complex calculations and data analysis in spreadsheets
