JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Level Entry Job Location Corporate Headquarters - New Berlin, WI Job Shift Day Description ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. ACS Group maintains an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, heat exchangers (mold temperature control units and chillers), drying systems, and presses. These products are marketed under such recognizable brand names as AEC, Sterling, Cumberland, Wabash and Carver. Manufacturing facilities are located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located Suzhou,China to handle the needs of the Asian market. The Supply Chain Intern is dedicated to continuous improvement of the supply chain. Involved in analysis of historical and future customer demand, internal and external supply capabilities and establishment of appropriate replenishment strategies. A successful candidate will be responsible for: Establish visual replenishment strategies for existing BIN (expense) items Analysis of duplicate part# detection for inventory consolidation and part deactivation Modification of supplier lead-time records to match demonstrated capabilities Examination of routed time estimated for class A subassembly finishing operations Evaluation of inventory buffers on low cost country sourced materials Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have completed at least their sophomore year in college with a major in Supply Chain, Operations Management or comparable degree Must have strong quantitative analysis skills Must have an interest and passion for continuous improvement of the Supply Chain Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have experience with desktop PC applications (Microsoft Excel) APICS affiliation/membership preferred Experience and Working Knowledge of Epicor Avante is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: ipc.us/t/9EBBA6B53F3A4E35
