POSITION SUMMARY:

The Market Researcher is a member of the Water Quality Platform DGT Data Quality Team with skills in data mining to identify decision makers specifically for Municipal and Industrial Water Business. The Ideal candidates will have experiences with databases like (LinkedIn, XING, Zoominfo). SFDC or Marketo basic knowledge will be welcome.

He/she will be validating, examining data and sharing high quality customer data with the global team to help improve operational performance through data analysis.

The Market Researcher executes data research/mining processes whereby potential customers account lists comprising detailed contact information are generated and validated for quality. We put specific focus in research methodology, approach, accuracy and in meeting timelines for deliverables.

He/she provides weekly customer/lead generation lists to marketing/sales teams for potential sales and to increase market visibility of the product.

Analyses the customer data to provide trends across segments; to ensure our business strategies address our ever-changing markets.

Other duties may be assigned as required by the business need.

The Market Researcher reports to the Visibility Team Lead.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pulling out customer account list from databases (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Hoover, XING, Marketo, SFCD).

  • Searching & validation each contact record using online directories or google; updating the contact list in excel

  • Providing list in Excel of all cleaned & de-duped records to marketing team

  • Updating, cleansing and maintaining the new customer account contact details in SharePoint

  • Communicating with global leaders as per business need

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Chemistry related fields is preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of secondary/primary market research experience; data research/mining & analysis (Product based secondary research is preferred)

  • Ability to communicate with global cross functional leaders in Water Quality Segment

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access required, SFDC and Marketo experience preferred

  • Language: English - Fluent
