For our permanent roles, we are looking for consultants with 3 years experience in preparing Victorian Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plans and providing advice to clients. You will be someone who strives for innovation, has outstanding project delivery skills, takes ownership of your projects, and loves to work closely with clients. You will also have demonstrable experience in engaging in meaningful consultation and partnership with Traditional Owners and Registered Aboriginal Parties.

· Supervision and undertaking heritage assessments, significance assessments and Cultural Heritage Management Plans;

· Overseeing portfolios of projects and preparing proposals for some of our key clients; and

Additional responsibilities include providing proposal inputs, leading projects and working with team members to support small to large heritage projects for a range of clients across the water, energy, renewables, government, road and rail sectors.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Victorian Registered Heritage Advisor with the appropriate qualifications and experience to lead fieldwork in accordance with the requirements of the new Minister’s Guidelines

  • Honours or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g. heritage management, archaeology)

  • Consulting experience, with a focus on Aboriginal heritage in Victoria

  • Applied knowledge of State and Commonwealth heritage legislation and relevant guidelines

  • Excellent research and site analysis skills
