Here, you will make an impact by:Engage with business leaders across various functions to deeply understand and analyze their data needs. Apply business analysis techniques to capture and translate these requirements into concrete data initiatives.Design, develop, and maintain both logical and physical data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Lead and manage scalable, cloud-based data management solutions including acquisition, processing, storage, and consumption of data for analytics applications.Collaborate with Data Scientists to build classification, optimization, and regression models.Ensure data quality, security and compliance across the data landscape.Work closely with IT teams and contracted personnel, providing guidance and fostering an environment conducive to shared learning and problem-solving.Exhibit strong communication skills, effectively conveying complex data concepts in a manner understandable to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Manufacturing or Supply Chain management.Eight (8) years of business analytics, data warehousing and/or data management (SAP ECC or SAP S/4) in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Five (5) years of manufacturing, operations and/or supply chain management in a private, public, government or military environment.Proven ability to curate and integrate datasets from disparate systems within a manufacturing and supply chain environment.Inherent ability to analyze a problem (known or unknown), research the root cause, and propose a solution to rectify the position.Experience with large disparate manufacturing and supply chain data to solve complex problems.Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Web Intelligence, Business Objects, Tableau or other BI tools.Strong attention to detail and data quality, being able to validate and maintain data accuracy.Experience designing cloud-based advanced analytics on big data.Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, Teradata, and Snowflake data warehouses.Solid communication skills, ability to interact with all levels within organization.Work as a member of an agile development organization.Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.Work location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to: 10% - DomesticRelocation Assistance: Not AuthorizedSupporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
