As the Senior Product Manager-Technical (Sr. PMT) in the Prime Video Financial Systems (FinSys) organization, this role leads the product strategy for nearly always on-time, accurate, and zero-touch payments and reporting. This includes a set of capabilities to send payments and reporting downstream for vending to thousands of PV and cross-digital Partners.

Key job responsibilities

As Sr. PMT, you manage the lifecycle of a technology product or a major technology feature with considerable impact. The Sr. PMT of Payments is responsible for the success of existing services used to execute PV disbursements downstream, make disbursement-level adjustments, report earnings and enable end-to-end reconciliation to Partners and internal teams , and detect and alert payment risks to Partners and internal teams.

You define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, desired customer experience, vision, tenets, and product strategy. The Sr. PMT of Payments will own defining the long-term vision for investments that make (1) the end-to-end payments process nearly zero-touch, error-free, and on-time and (2) financial data access & reconciliation self-service for Partners & internal users. You own the product roadmap and feature priorities, which may include contributing to operational plannings narratives and goals, and engineering organisation roadmaps. A Sr. PMT distills clear requirements from large and diverse sets of customers, partners, vendors, engineering team builders, and regional agencies/business entities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
