StraCon Services Group, LLC. Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Journeyman in Lexington Park, Maryland

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Journeyman, to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR program office in Pax River, MD. Successful candidates shall meet the minimum experience and education requirements and have demonstrated the necessary skills and experience to assist with theduties listed below: The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Support the development of program acquisition documentation.
    • Acquisition Plans (AP)
    • Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR)
    • Justification and Approvals (JandA)
    • Procurement Initiation Document (PID)
    • Statement of Work (SOW)
    • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
    • Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA).
  • Work independently in the Procurement Management Tool (PMT) to initiate, generate, route and mange PIDS
    • Must have experience with the full life cycle of PID management to include a firm understanding of Contract sections B-H, Purchase Requests, and PMT Records
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
  • Facilitate, attend, participate, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards

Experience Requirements:

  • 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing desired duties described above
  • Must have experience with the NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) suite of tools, SharePoint and MS Teams

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in a business, management, or technical discipline
  • Allowable Substitution: Associates Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelors DegreeORFour (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree

Security Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
