Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities MOM Brands Company, LLC seeks a BI Architect in Lakeville, Minnesota, to hold a highly technical, analytics-focused role that requires interaction and partnership with leaders across the business. The BI Architect is responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise BI standards, and is also responsible for leading the design and development of complex business reporting systems using, Cognos, TM1, and Oracle SQL DB. The specific duties and responsibilities include: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Cognos and TM1 reports, reporting packages, and cubes; Design, develop, test, deploy, and support related Oracle SQL queries and views; Understand and leverage Cognos and TM1 best-practices and advanced features to deliver intuitive, accurate, high-impact reports; Collaborate with business leaders and users to conceptualize and design reporting solutions that drive business decision making; Combine data from multiple sources to develop integrated data sources and reports; Lead the development of new data sources to improve analysis and reporting; Create, enhance, and maintain Cognos Framework Manager Models and support the creation of aggregate tables; Work on data modelling and data validation; Stay up-to-date with best practices and maintain enterprise BI standards for the Cognos and TM1 environments; Work on code migration, code change documentation, and defect management; Perform proactive and reactive Cognos and TM1 maintenance and support tasks; Maintain security and permissions in Cognos and TM1 Identify process improvement opportunities and take the initiative to implement those improvements; Create documentation and provide training on Cognos and TM1 and the use of data/information; Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced analysts on topics such as analysis, documentation, industry best practices, efficient modeling of data etc.; Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills; and Perform ad-hoc duties as needed based on changing business needs. Qualifications The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Management, or a closely related field, or a foreign equivalent degree. We require seven (7) years of progressively responsible Business Intelligence Development experience, including seven (7) years of: dimensional modeling, OLAP tools, building and maintaining complex reports using IBM Cognos, and writing simple to complex SQL queries in Oracle. We also require seven (7) years of experience with the following tools: Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Transformer, Power Play, and Analysis Studio. Finally, four (4) years of experience developing data analytics solutions in TM1 is required. Experience can be gained concurrently. May partially telecommute from home within normal commuting distance from our Lakeville (Minnesota) office.
