Job Description

An employer is looking for a Software Test Engineer in the Huntsville, AL area. Supports complete software development lifecycle for testing, performs systems and software integration, produces software test documentation to support airworthiness certification, analyzes systems, software and hardware specifications and interface documents. Full Software Development Lifecycle to include developing software component design, implementation, and unit test artifacts.

Skills and Requirements

Active Secret Clearance

Software development using C/C++ is required

Familiarity with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Microsoft Visual Studio is required Embedded systems software test and general knowledge of embedded systems are desired

Experience writing Perl and Bash shell scripts is desired

Experience with configuration management tools such as Subversion, GIT, JIRA and Bitbucket is desired

Experience with multicore SW projects is desired

Knowledge of Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience is desired null
