The Role:

The Sr. FW/SW Quality Engineer is responsible for managing and executing software quality assurance activities for Logitech's Video Conferencing system, and provide software quality status and data for product/software release decisions.

• Responsible for the test schedule/scope and activities of software release for Logitech Rally Bar Product Family

• Create test plans/strategy to validate the SW and HW features

• Design and code automated test cases including UI and non-UI tests as per test plan/strategy

• Design and implement test setup for peripherals interaction includes but not limited to HDMI, USB, Power adaptor, or HW keys

• Develop shell/python script for test process automation, test data processing and reporting

• Onboarding automated tests to CI/CD flow and ensure automated tests coverage per test cycle

• Triage test results/failures from automated test run and report bugs

• Writing test reports and executive summary for software quality review

Qualification

• Computer Science/Electronic Engineering background

• Software/Product Quality assurance experience in consumer electronics or operating systems

• Deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies with hands on experience in setting up software quality targets and/or criteria

• Familiar with creating test plans for Android powered products or video/conference/communication products

• Hands on experience in developing python scripts for android test automation in system and app level

• Familiar with adb shell commands includes but not limited to dumpsys, services, am, etc

• Familiar with Google GMS certification test suites and hands on experience in execution

• Fluence in windows and mac/linux operating system, and familiar with batch/bash shell scripting

• Familiar with software management tools likes GitHub/Git, JIRA, etc
