About this Position Community MT helps Montana communities offer safe, efficient and quality public facilities, including streets, water and sewer services, schools, health care facilities and social services facilities, creating a vibrant economy and job opportunities. · Analyzes and manages grant projects and contracts from start up activities to completion · Responds to program inquiries and provides appropriate information to local government officials and other applicant representatives · Coordinates and performs grant application reviews · Assures project compliance with state and federal regulations, conducts research relevant to overlapping and complex regulations · Serves as liaison to local, departmental, state and federal agencies staff to coordinate project needs · Manages project budgets and financial requests · Maintains all project records for compliance and reporting to state or federal agencies · Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions with effective communication skills This position is open until filled; with first review date of 5.23.24. What are we looking for?__ Education and Experience: // · A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, planning, finance, humanities or other related areas plus (2) years of job related experience including public facility improvements, grant management, housing development, planning or finance. · Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
