Client facing with top tier clients and accountable for ensuring the data feeds for those top tier clients are current and timely and ensuring that the data quality is to HSB standards. As part of the client team, acts as a liaison for all data and data delivery capabilities with the top tier clients.

Leads the efforts to clearly define data needs for clients with the client team within the Treaty organization. Works closely with other data experts within HSB to ensure data quantity, data timeliness, data governance and data quality for all client feeds are met. Work with the data team and the product team in ensuring consistency in data fields within HSB product .

Works with the data team todevelop reports to measure data feed timeliness, quantity, and data quality to share with clients as needed. Acts as a voice of customer by sharing client feedback in the development of new data specs for any new HSB products or HSB product enhancements. Collaborates with clients to integrate with their Policy Administration System as it relates to data transfer for Inforce and Bordereaux data.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience centered around Math, Analytics etc.

  • 7+ years of experience in insurance related data, actuarial, or analytics

  • 5+ experience in data intake and working knowledge of P&C insurance company and agency operations, business processing systems, workflow documentation, and reporting.

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the “as a Service” space.

  • Experience working with senior management in developing strategic and tactical plans.

  • Experience as with data analytics or visualizations preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving innovation and process improvement

  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Structured Query Language (SQL) and other database technologies

  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet established deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and prioritize product features based on customer needs and business objectives.

  • Leadership skills and experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of APIs, web technologies, and digital product development processes in data related technology space

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and staff to promote collaboration and teamwork.

  • Ability to think strategically and function tactically.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills which can be deployed at any level of an organization, including creativity, adaptability and communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, lead, and manage and multi-task a variety of projects/activities from start to finish.
