U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Operations & Plan Analyst (Prevention) in Fort Eustis, Virginia

Summary About the Position: Serve as the Operations and Plans Analyst responsible for the functions of the Prevention Force Modernization Proponent (PFMP) responsible for planning efforts, task management, contract oversight and travel management. This position is located , Fort Eustis, VA. Responsibilities Serve as the Operations and Plans Analyst directly responsible for day-to-day operations management of the Prevention Force Modernization Proponent (PFMP) and the synchronization of all activities on the operations calendar. Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and significant actions to keep leaders informed of on-going missions and programs related to the prevention of harmful behaviors in the Army. Serve as action officer for various special programs, tasks, and projects related to the prevention of harmful behaviors (for example: Sexual Assault, Harassment, Equal Opportunity, IPAG or Army Substance Abuse Program). Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for PFMP contracts providing oversight, workload management, and quality control. Responsible for the operation, tracking and maintenance of formal actions and suspense tracking systems (such as ETMS, CATMS), processing of incoming communication and transmittal of messages. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as 1) Facilitating the planning efforts, program implementation, and day to day operations of a military prevention program to prevent harmful behaviors (for example: Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention, Equal Opportunity, Integrated Prevention Advisory Group (IPAG) or Army Substance Abuse Program); 2) Managing the operation, tracking, and maintenance of formal task actions and suspense tracking systems (such as Education and Training Management Systems (ETMS), Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS); 3) Providing contract oversight, technical advice on contract regulations and requirements; AND 4) Preparing detailed reports and briefings to keep leadership informed of on-going missions and programs related to the prevention of harmful behaviors. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS- 12.
