About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has been arisen for a Senior Executive - Jumeirah Hospitality Programme UAEN to join Finance Department at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main duties and responsibilities of this role

  • Financial Reporting: Help in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses across departments, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and reconciliation of accounts.

  • Cash Management: Assist in managing daily cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, preparing bank reconciliations, and maintaining cash flow forecasts.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, such as profitability analysis of different hotel amenities, pricing strategies, or investment opportunities.

  • Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining records, and responding to tax inquiries.

  • Internal Controls: Help implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the hotel's assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance in addressing audit findings.

  • Financial Systems: Learn and utilize financial systems and software used by the hotel for accounting, reporting, and analysis purposes.

  • Financial Planning: Assist in long-term financial planning initiatives, such as capital budgeting, investment analysis, and evaluating financing options.

  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by senior management, which may involve financial modeling, feasibility studies, or process improvement initiatives.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field

  • A deep understanding of financial concepts, including financial markets, investment strategies, risk management, and financial regulations

  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a track record of effectively managing budgets and optimizing financial performance within a luxury hotel setting.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, QuickBooks, or similar.

  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various departments and stakeholders within a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
