Senior DevOps Engineer is accountable for delivering service-based applications assigned to the Digital Customer Experience area. This role applies the combined professional skills, AGCO knowledge and technical expertise to support and deliver AGCO business in Digital Transformation area using cutting edge web technologies and Agile development practices.

Our team is expanding, therefore we are specifically looking for individuals, who are passionate about rich variety of workloads across DevOps technologies.

Our goal would be to have a well-balanced, equally passionate squad, therefore we consider applicants from different technical backgrounds as well.

The job covers a wide range of activities that require complex judgements and solutions based on sophistical analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretive thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Extensive research is usually called for, but it may not be conducted or even championed by the individual.

Your Impact

• Design, deploy, and maintain standards, best practices, and processes for production support, incident response and root cause analysis, capacity and performance management, health and security monitoring, disaster recovery, application building, packaging, configuration management, QA, and deployment,

• Work with engineers and product management teams across multiple organizations to advise and influence architecture and technical strategies,

• Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of container orchestration platform, Automation of systems provisioning/management and application deployment processes,

• Create relationship and partnership building skills with customers, vendors, peers, and upper management, within and across organizational boundaries.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Proven DevOps experience

• UNIX system experience with AWS platform

• Proven experience in .NET Development cases or Java, Angular experience advantageous

• Experience using one or more of the following tools: GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Git, Docker/Kubernetes

• Experience designing solutions using cloud application services such as data pipelines, data streams, message queues, workflows, and notifications

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
