Rental Business Process Supervisor
OPEN TO LOCATION:
Poughkeepsie, NY, Bloomingburg, NY, Holtsville, NY, Medford, NY, Bronx, NY, Newington, CT
Pay : $72,000 - $85,000/year, (dependent on relevant experience)
Bonus Potential: 15%

Key Qualifications :
2 years’+ experience in equipment-related industry required
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (between all branches)
Excellent communication, (both written & oral), organization, and problem-solving skills
High proficiency level with computer systems, specifically DBS & IRS
Excellent customer service skills
A desire to mentor and support others
Ability to negotiate and close deals
Clean & valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities
An efficient rental process driven by the management of rental coordinator workflow organization and streamlining
Ensure coordinators are following proper quoting, contract and record keeping procedures
Ensure accurate rental billing is done daily
Manage cash rentals to ensure coordinators are following policy
Drive operational consistency across branches to minimize wasted man hours
Ensure the rental coordinators are providing customers with unparalleled responsiveness in meeting their rental needs
Increase familiarity with IRS/Informer metrics reports and dashboards
Staff and develop people to achieve all key results
Build & maintain environment characterized by high productivity and high morale
Effectively manage employee performance (goal-setting, providing feedback, coaching, timely reviews, recognition, holding people
Develop people to consistently achieve or exceed job expectations
Ensure a culture of safety through ongoing communication and timely completion of safety initiatives and reinforcing safe work habits
Maximized fleet utilization and revenue opportunity derived through improved machine readiness
Work closely with branch Service Departments to enforce shop turnaround times on rental machines while ensuring proper billing of maintenance and warranty repairs
Manage time to ready process with coordinators
Manage slow rents report and address issues with coordinators
Review and act on aged call offs and reservations to maximize machine availability
Inventory Control through assisting the Corporate Rental & Used Manager
Ensure attachment inventory is adequate with the correct mix for the NY and CT markets and is accurately noted in DBS/IRS
Ensure units are not being shipped without a contract
Reduce the risk of lost attachments by managing the attachment inventory and ensure the proper attachment process is followed
Schedule and assist with periodic physical yard inventories
Key expenses for the Rental Department managed in an effective manner
Reduce hauling expenses through relationship building with new and existing vendors and negotiating better rates
Manage the rental damage assessment and billing processes
Serve as backup rental coordinator as needed
Qualifications
2 years’+ experience in equipment-related industry required

Physical Requirements:
Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
Hand coordination (typing and writing)
