Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Agile development team! As a member of a team owned for building foundational services, you will contribute to the development of Autodesk' next generation of Customer Identity Access Management Platform that is used by 150+ Autodesk desktop, mobile , web applications and cloud services and a growing third-party developer ecosystem for managing user authentication, authorization, profile and entitlements. The service is one of the main business enablers serving millions of customers every day. You will work on modern AWS technologies as you build the next generation of the Autodesk's Identity Platform.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of Agile team that builds the service

• Contribute to all aspects of service development including front-end, back-end, DevOps and quality

• Help operate the service, e.g. monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging and troubleshooting

• Work with architect and product management to realize requirements and translate them to elegant implementations

• Use the current system behaviour to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the scalability, reliability, usability and security of the system

• debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components

• Advocate for the service within the team to help the product teams to integrate

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of years of experience building cloud-native restful microservice

• Expert-level experience with programming languages such as Go-Lang or Java or .NET

• Experience with relational and non-relational data stores

• Expert-level experience in building services with, high availability at the internet scale

• Experience with software design and architectural patterns

• single-hearted to quality, including security and performance

• Pick up new languages, tools and design patterns

• Experience with networking concepts and their application in system architecture

• Customer-oriented mindset a focus on delivering quality services

• Identify and optimize system performance bottlenecks

• Experience debugging and conducting root cause analysis

• Proficiency in consuming, and designing REST APIs

• Previous experience in roles related to SRE, DevOps, system administration, infrastructure engineering, or software development

• Experience developing scalable and reliable systems

• Aware of DevOps principles and practices
