Responsibilities

The AI Operations Team is a key component in building the next generations of Human Ground Truth to support Large Language and AI Models by producing high quality annotations which train and improve Microsoft products and services.

The AI Operations Team uses native language skills and cultural knowledge to capture linguistic nuances with high fidelity. In this

role you will be the foundation of the Microsoft teams responsible for driving machine learning and high AI technology, such as, AI assistance for people’s daily life, meeting captioning, and more. Join our team and use your background and expertise to continue

Work with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Marketing) to design programs/projects from initiation to delivery.

Learns to produce collateral (e.g., proposals, strategy walking deck, internal and external pitch content) to incorporate stakeholder needs and ensure the business objectives are met.

Learn how to track the success criteria and performance metrics such as quality, throughput, and SLA Metrics. Cooperates with project leads to define and execute landing and communication

plans, such as the target audience(s) and communication strategy.

Maintains the rhythm of business (ROB) during plan execution to ensure global alignment. Works across teams and

centers to ensure all projects/initiative requirements are understood and can be met.

Learns to convert stakeholders to gain buy in. Leverages data and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]) to demonstrate the

value of the projects and show business impact under close guidance from senior team members.

Adapts communication style and storytelling strategy according to audience and business needs. Understands and follows ethics and privacy policies when collecting and preparing guidelines or contributing to development of the guidelines.

Adheres to Microsoft's privacy policy related to utilizing and working with data. Identifies data integrity problems.

Maintains high standard of data protection and security, follows standardized processes to prevent any information leakage or breach that could compromise the quality and reliability of products and services and minimizes exposure to risk.

Demonstrates personal ownership through following S&P guidelines, immediately reporting incidents using the appropriate channels, and completes all security training. Applies policies and procedures under oversight from managers and peers to meet business needs.

May interpret the information to protect Microsoft and customers and move the business forward. Discovers non-conformance and escalates to management.

• Leads teams to work with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery. Tactically delegates the need for delivery of collateral (e.g., proposals, strategy walking deck, internal pitch content) to incorporate stakeholder needs and ensure the business objectives are met. Simplifies complex inputs into program design.

• Leads teams to collect and evaluate success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as usage, impact, effectiveness, and customer feedback to use scorecards and dashboards to monitor programs and ensure all activities align with business and program objectives, and to report up to leadership and create leadership visibility. Helps teams use data analytics (e.g., scenario analyses) to derive insights and training that help identify current and/or future program risks and mitigation plans, as well as opportunities to streamline and optimize programs based on lessons learned that impact the broader unit.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work

experience in program management, process management, process improvement

o OR equivalent experience.

• 2+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, process improvement o OR Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years program management experience, process management, process improvement o OR equivalent experience.

• 4+ years people management experience.
