Manufacturing Quality Analyst in Albuquerque, NM.

10 hour shifts

Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The MQA On the Floor (MQA OTF) functional unit is a multi-tier, multi-function team made up of Analysts, Specialists, and Core Monitors that works together to provide 24hr front line support to while optimizing safe work practices, regulatory compliance, SOP compliance and schedule adherence through demonstrated proficiency in sterile drug manufacturing cGMP and aseptic processes.

The MQA Analyst I role is an entry level developmental function. The Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA) Analyst I will partner with manufacturing to provide support in process oversite and tier one decision making activities. A successful candidate will demonstrate a safety focused quality mindset, a capacity for critical thinking, and aptitude to understand written standard operating procedures. The MQA Analyst I must communicate effectively during collaborations with production partners and escalate urgently to facilitate decisions on path forward. The MQA Analyst I will work collaboratively on a routine basis with management, front line manufacturing/support group technicians and with senior MQA OTF team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily audits

  • Perform room inspections

  • Review documentation

  • Communicate effectively

  • Collaborate intra and interdepartmentally

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

  • FDA manufacturing regulated industry experience in an aseptic manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of aseptic processing

  • cGMP and GDP experience

  • Operations or quality assurance in any industry, machinery operation, shift work, experience working with quality issues or productivity, military experience

Language /Communication Skills:

  • Technical document comprehension.

  • Technical writing skills

  • Interdepartmental communication

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook

Mathematical Skills:

  • Basic algebra

Reasoning Ability:

  • Problem solving experience

Other Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check

  • Must pass a drug screen

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for up to 4hrs at a time

  • Ability to perform aseptic gowning

  • Ability to crouch or crawl for short periods of time.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception with or without corrective lenses.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
