UL, LLC Demand Generation Lead in Chicago, Illinois

This role is hybrid on-site (3) days a week

UL Solutions is looking for a Demand Generation Lead to help drive lead and pipeline generation across our portfolio of software products and advisory services.

The demand generation lead will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling best practices and will work closely with several product marketing teams to generate the right leads and support their buying journey.

The ideal candidate is an expert in B2B tech marketing and has experience driving successful demand generation programs across a range of go-to-market models.

  • Has accountability for the performance and results within own discipline or function.

  • Manages activities, programs and/or agency resources to develop and optimize the strategy for marketing technology tools support, identifies areas where technologies and toolsets can improve performance and provides new functionalities to meet business objectives.

  • Develops strong working relationships with business, marketing and sales stakeholders to define and oversee process creation, implementation, governance and continuous improvement to increase adoption and ensure alignment for lead development, contact acquisition, event support and demand generation.

  • Manages activities, programs and/or agency resources to develop, manage and execute measurable demand generation campaigns that engage and nurture prospects to increase sales pipeline and deliver direct revenue.

  • Manages activities, programs and/or agency resources to provide input to optimum inbound and outbound tactic mix and works closely with strategic communications and business stakeholders to provide input on optimal content strategies that drive successful demand generation programs.

  • Manages activities, programs and/or agency resources to analyze and translate data into actionable insights on program performance, marketing impact and forecasting.

  • Manages activities, programs and/or agency resources to optimize teleservices including business development, contact acquisition, event support

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, economics or science related field

  • Minimum 8 years' experience working in B2B marketing roles, ideally at software companies

  • Experience building lead nurture programs and using marketing automation platforms

  • Experience managing paid digital campaigns through channels like AdWords, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Experience marketing to a technical audience

  • Experience working within a matrixed, enterprise marketing organization

  • Experience working with Salesforce, Marketo and marketing analytics platforms (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau)
